Martin R. Mattes, Sales Manager

Martin R. Mattes (CMDCM(SW/AW) Ret), Sales Manager of Coronado Distribution Co., is a native of Wind Lake, Wisconsin. Upon enlisting into the United States Navy in 1984 at the age of 18, he attended boot camp in Orlando, Florida and Yeoman “A” School in Meridian, Mississippi. After graduating Yeoman “A” School, he was assigned to the USS KINKAID (DD 965) located in sunny San Diego, California.

During his 24 years of Naval Service, he was stationed on eight different ships and earned the rank of Master Chief, and applied for and was accepted into the Command Master Chief Program. He was Command Master Chief of Carrier, Strike Group SEVEN, USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45) and USS PELELIU (LHA 5).

He retired in 2008 and currently he resides in Imperial Beach. He is a member of the Uptown Optimist Club, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 5477, Fleet Reserve Association and an avid supporter of the Sailor of the Year Program for Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Commander Naval Air Forces and Commander, Naval Submarine Force, Pacific.

Jim Colbert, Naval Ships Territory Manager

Jim Colbert, Naval Ships Territory Manager for Coronado Distribution Co., originally from Virginia. Jim served in the United States Navy from 1980-2011 and earned the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. He attend QM “A” school and was subsequently stationed at the following duty stations; USS KIDD (DDG 993), USS TRUXTON (CGN 35), RECRUIT TRAINING CENTER SAN DIEGO, USS RUSHMORE (LSD 47), AFLOT TRAINING GROUP WESTPAC, TWR 842 and NAVAL STATION SAN DIEGO. He was selected to the Command Master Chief Program and served as the Command Master Chief of the USS ANTIETAM (CG 54), TRAINING SUPPORT CENTER SAN DIEGO and USS PEARL HARBOR. Jim has 30 years experience understanding the needs of the United States Navy, he bring his knowledge and foresight to a much needed area. 

Carlos Antonio Flores, Sales Associate

Carlos Antonio Flores, Sales Associate for Coronado Distribution Co., originally from Los Angeles, CA. Served in the United States Navy from 2002 - 2008 as a Storekeeper Second Class (SW). On board Emory S. Land AS-39, Naval Support Activity La Maddalena Italy and USS Kidd (DDG-100). Carlos has over nine years experience in Military Logistics Support as a Enlisted man and contractor.
